Yes...They Really Do Come Home ! We only release well cared for & highly trained Rock Doves, registered with AU or IF Pigeon Organizations, banded with seamless identification bands. Our birds are professionals in every sense, trained to fly back to their loft in Lewes, Delaware...their loft is their home, where they are loved, cared for, well fed, having their own favorite perches with their mates & family members. Whether you wish to release 2 or 100 birds, your event will be remembered as spectacular as these graceful creatures soar above you. At least one professionally attired coordinator will be present at every release. We arrive dressed for the occasion & are properly set up ahead of time, ready for your event. Safety of our birds is of the utmost importance to us. Release Doves will not be released under any circumstances which are deemed to be unsafe to them, such as extreme heat, cold, adverse weather conditions, fog, heavy rain, thunderstorms, high winds, dangerous areas with overhead obstacles or the presence of predators, or from a range beyond which they are safely able to return home. We do not ship or drop off our birds for self releases, never release indoors & birds are never released unless they have ample daylight time in which to fly back home to their loft safely. Safe release months are from April to August, as the number of hawks in the area & hawk attacks increase during autumn & winter migration. We do have a detailed policy, covering refunds we offer for unfavorable weather conditions and/or cancellations, etc., a copy is provided with every Dove Release and/or Display Agreement. Display Doves will not be displayed in areas unsafe to them, such as in direct sunlight, near loud speakers or drafts. None of our birds will ever be left unattended...Our beautiful birds are living creatures, each with unique personalities...we care for them & love them dearly!
